hello, my name is
ulrika kouvo

I quit my full time job as a teacher to pursue my passion for web design, code and photography.
I haven't looked back and continue to learn new things every day.
I also enjoy spending time in nature, being with my family and doing yoga.
I love exploring and going on new adventures.
Here are the projects I've been working on. I'm currently a student at Team Treehouse.
Our mission is to teach Web Design, Development and iOS to people everywhere, in order to help them achieve their dreams and change the world.
The Web Designer track includes Web Typography, Bootstrap, CSS Animations, Flexbox and Sass Basics among other things.
The Front-End Developer track covers HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript.
I have worked as a teacher for more than seven years.
I have been teaching basic programming and photography skills to grades 2-6.
I have completed the Front-End Developer and the Web Designer track.
I have also taken courses in Wordpress and php for Wordpress.
I've learnt so many useful things and I'm excited to start building my own projects.
I realized that, just like art and fashion, code is about creativity, and that women who have these skills have the power to shape our future - and often have.
Women are essential in forging digital progress and knowing how to code is the key to exploring and creating the newest frontier.
